Russia Day - 12th June

June 12 is the national day of the Russian Federation - the Day of Russia.
The First Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Federation adopted the Declaration on Russia's National Sovereignty on June 12, 1990.
The day was adopted as national holiday by Supreme Soviet of Russia in 1992. It was again proclaimed as National Holiday by the Russian President's decree of June 2, 1994.
